Hi. My name is John Newby and I am a certified car nut. Over the years I have probably owned more cars than most people will own in their entire lifetime. At last count, I have owned over 50 different vehicles and that number will just keep growing with time. Click here for the complete CAR LIST. While not all of them were great, they all had the potential to be great and that is what keeps me searching for the next one. At times I’ve owned as many as 11 cars at one time, while other times that has dropped to only two or three. But at any given time, I have always had at least one project going. I also have had many different “eras” of cars, but my passion is for cars of the 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s, with my all time favorite probably being the 1955 Chevrolet. There’s just something about that little shoebox Chevy that has always appealed to me. I’ve owned a ’55 Chevy hardtop at one point, but the car bug bit me again, so I traded it for yet another car, and the chain continued on. 

With cars being such a big part of my life, I decided to create a website devoted to my passion for the automobile. After researching some of the most popular car sites on the web, I decided that there was room to improve on the car site niche and so I started designing what I wanted to have on my site.

First of all, I created this site with one distinct purpose in mind, and that was to make the best all around car site possible. I realize that there are millions of car sites on the internet today, but there seems to be one big drawback to most of them. They all seem to have one or two key features, but lack the total package. That’s where this site differs. Instead of just one or two features, like most sites, I have decided to add as many features to the site as I can. That is what sets us apart from other sites. Some other sites focus on just picture galleries or ways to show your ride. Others just have forums or chat rooms for you to talk about your ride. Well, I have added both of these features and more so that you, the visitor, can show your ride, talk about your ride, buy a new ride, or even sell your own. I have tried to incorporate all of the most used features that are the most popular among car enthusiasts on the web today.   

There has been a directory added for you to submit links to your site. There is a wide range of topics to choose from, but if for some reason you don't find a category that suits your site, please contact us by using the contact form on our contact page and we will see about getting the particular category added to the directory.

We have also added a forum for you to ask all of your automotive questions or just share your knowledge on the building, restoring, or maintaining any and all types of vehicles. There are topics ranging from general maintenance and performance mods to tech questions and other mechanical problems and fixes. We will try to cover as many topics as we can think of, but if for some reason you find that there is a topic missing from the forum that you think would be beneficial to our visitors, there is a section to submit topic ideas as well. After all, this site is built by car lovers, for car lovers, and we want to hear your thoughts on all aspects of the site. So speak up and be heard!

We have also just added a FREE Members Gallery as well. This is where you can show off your ride by uploading pics and descriptions for others to see and even vote on. As an added bonus, each vehicle submitted to the gallery will be eligible to be chosen as our Featured Vehicle Of The Month. At the end of each and every month, we will take the vehicle that has received the highest votes over the preceeding month, and that vehicle will be displayed on it's own page on our site. You can find out more by visiting our Featured Car page using the links at the top or bottom of the page.

We have just recently installed chat rooms as well. This will be our own online "Car Club" where members can chat, share ideas, share tips and tricks, and basically just hang out with other car crazy people in the world. So be sure to check them out, as well as the other features and pages on the site.

The latest addition to the site is our new FREE classifieds section. We have partnered up with one of the fastest growing free classified ad sites on the web, BuzzTrader.com, to bring you a complete classifieds section that you can browse or search right from our site. You can also submit your own ad by following the links on the classifieds page. Just click on the "classifieds" link on the top or bottom of the page to check it out today!

As you can see, we are a new site, and starting out on the web is a very difficult thing to do. Because of this, we need your support in this endeavour if it is ever going to take off. So, be sure to help us spread the word about the site and try to get the word out to anyone you think might be interested in it. Word of mouth is a very powerful thing and the faster we can get established, and the more people we can get participating in the site, the better, more informative, and more enjoyable the site will be for everyone.
